Valuable for all experience levels, this workshop is a special opportunity to learn from a veteran Director of Photography. Drawing on a wealth of experience, Ken will share invaluable tips – that he relies on to get through his productions.
Participants will learn how to:
- Breakdown a scene from a script for productions with different budgets
- Know what you need to shoot your project and actually get it
- Navigate pre-production and then on through production
- Work with your director, gaffer, key grip and, of course, the camera department
- Work without a crew
Ken Krawczyk has been shooting TV series since 1997 with over 200 episodes in his credits including Project Blue Book, InSecurity and Corner Gas. He has worked many movies as Director of Photography, including Welcome to Nowhere, Adventure Club and Corner Gas: The Movie. Ken has been nominated for three Gemini Awards and one Canadian Screen Award.
This workshop will be held at the Regina Soundstage
on Saturday, February 9th from 10am – 4:30pm.
