Workshop Leader, Trevor Aikman
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Trevor was a graduate of the University of Regina’s Film & Video Program (1996). After working in several different departments on productions ranging from commercials to feature films, he landed an editing position at Regina-based Partners in Motion Pictures. Trevor learned his trade cutting corporate/industrials, PSA’s and promos, finally working up to feature length documentaries and series. He has won several awards locally and was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Editing on the Emmy-Award winning documentary “13 Seconds: The Kent State Shootings”. Since then he has edited content for major broadcasters including CBC, Discovery, History Television, TLC, HGTV, Vision, and CityTV, as well as local TV news, independent features, short films, and comedy series. Most recently, he just completed editing the first season of Guardians of the North for Wavelength Entertainment.
