Certified Flag Person Training

If you or someone you know is interesting in becoming a Certified Flag Person, SMPIA has organized a simple way to do it.

This valuable certification is useful for to help gain employment on film and television productions, or to work as a flag person on roadways and construction sites in Saskatchewan.

The process is simple.

First go to https://hcsas.sk.ca/online-training/ and take the “Flag Person Online (Temporary Certificate) course. It costs $20 and takes about 3 hours.

Second  send your temporary certificate to smpiaworkforce@gmail.com and put  “Flagging Evaluation on August 31” in the subject line.  We will register you for the Practical Evaluation on August 31 and send you details when they are confirmed.

Remember to mark August 31 on your calendar.
