Applications are open for the CrossCurrents Doc Funds, offering development and production grants of $10,000 to $50,000.
There are two funding streams:
- CrossCurrents Canada Doc Fund, supported by Netflix: For short and feature-length projects by emerging and sophomore Canadian storytellers who are Indigenous, Francophone, Deaf, with disability, or who are artists of colour.
- International funding: For interactive, short or feature-length projects by emerging international storytellers within groups whose perspectives have been historically underrepresented.
Application deadline is September 28.
